Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2011

It's been rainning cats and dogs all day yesterday and will likely continue until the weekend...kinda depressing...until I landed on these beautiful ads from Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2011!

I can see myself looking fabulous in that first Burberry trench with leather sleeves.  And if one of the hot men (preferably the one from the last two ads please!) would like to join me, all the merrier!

It was the Met Gala tonight at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute (only the most fashionable gala of the year).  This year's theme was entitled: Alexander McQueen - Savage Beauty.

And here are my Savage Beauties.

SHOPPING - Kyoto Garden

I got out of my comfort zone and into the garden of Kyoto!  Couldn't possibly resist this Winter Kate silk kimono jacket (which was my second purchase from yesterday's shopping trip).

PS. Are you sick of seeing my Modern Vintage wedge sandals yet?

SHOPPING - I see through you

So I didn't exactly go home empty handed yesterday...It was a beautiful day and I was very much in the mood of spring shopping.  Unfortunately, my son was not so cooperative when came time to try on my selection.  What is a mommy of 8 months old to do?  Randomly grabbed whatever seemed like a sure-win and try them on at home.

And my new Alexander Wang silk blouse is a sure-win!  Men's cut in a feminine see-through silk that beautifully drapes against my skin.  I have a feeling you'll be seeing Mr Wang very often this summer.

Cloud 9

In a sudden urge to redecorate my bedroom in all white.  Wouldn't it be wonderful to sleep here?

I'm walking on sunshine

Completely unintentional, but I realized yesterday as we were strolling downtown that my yellow toe-n-heel socks match perfectly with Ayden's Quinny Buzz stroller!

OUTFIT DU JOUR - Woodstock 1969

OK, so I wasn't even born in 1969, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy outdoor music festivals.  Living in Montreal has its perks.  Every summer, the core downtown turns its busy streets into pedistrian streets for the Montreal Jazz Festival.  With many free outdoor concerts, you will surely spot me enjoying the live music and working on my tan!

Green with ENVY...

So one of my best friend called me yesterday to tell me that the gold CC Chanel earrings without any stones (that I always wanted) is finally in stock at our local boutique.  She was going to call me on the spot to see if she should pick them up for me but forgot since she was herself too preoccupied trying on the new collection!!!

And this is what she left the store with: a classic CC clutch in soft python!!!  I tried to restrain showing any sign of jealousy but it was too obvious!!  And she got the CC earrings too (of course)!  My only consolation was a 10,000 calories cannoli.
