DETAILS - Rodarte

I often find the detail pictures are far more interesting than the full look pictures as it focuses on the intricate craftsmanship of the design.  It also allows us to imagine the rest of the outfit.  And detail shots are best on maximalist designers like Rodarte, who is more about art and commercialism.

The hair & makeup is stunning: thick unruly brows to add rawness, flushed cheeks as if the models just spent hours in the cold wind and tucked faux-bob with cosmo-star barrette.  I've never considered wearing a barrette but I'm sure I won't be the only one this season to wear the new trend!

And let's not forget the shoes...Rodarte always have amazing-not-for-office-lady-job shoes!!!
