OUTFIT DU JOUR - Make the Cut

It's been a while since I last did a DIY.  This morning, I was inspired to do a quick one: convert a old sweatshirt into a modern short sleeve one that is more weather appropriate for an instant wardrobe update!

Top - DIY; Skirt - Rick Owens; Hat - Zara; Bag - Celine; Necklace - Local Designer; Shoes - Stella McCartney





It's really simple:

1. Cut sleeve off an old sweatshirt about 3" from armpit
2. Roll a 1" hem and secure with two quick stitches to prevent from unrolling

And voilà!  Done in 5 mins flat (if given more time, I would perhaps add embellishment around neckline but adding a necklace would give the same effect).  Off I go to my meeting!
