I know, I know...I've already covered the runway detail and backstage beauty of CHANEL's Paris-Bombay collection but I just can't get enough!  First off, I love Indian jewelry: the stacked bracelets, the head/hand/feet jewelry, the rows and rows of pearls, stones & embellishment.  Add that to the genius vision of Karl Lagerfeld, and voila!  The treasure chest of Alibaba!!!

A few girlfriends of mine have decided to join a charity cycling marathon last saturday morning along the Bund of Shanghai, totalling 50km.  For those who are athletic and use to training for the Iron Man (or even 1/2 Iron Man), 50k is no sweat!

But in this case, we're talking about girls who bought their bicycle on monday, trained twice during the week and just went for it on saturday morning!!!  I'm not sure if brave is the right word...maybe more like are-you-outta-your-mind?!?  Anyways, they didn't do the full 50K, but managed to finish 35km, which is still impressive.

So, I'm just wondering what type (or brand) of bikes would I have opted?  A Chanel or Dolce & Gabbana cruiser to go thru the finish line???

This has to be the top NYFW collection thus far.  Small details and perfect styling makes me want to own all the pieces, not to mention the gorgeous gladiator sandals!!!

Pure genius; smart tailoring: Altuzarra created vents on his jackets allowing them to worn as capes (a style we've all witness on street style).  I also love the ethnic sensibility on the evening pieces with embroidered silk and gold chain fringe.  Love love love!

This guy really can do no wrong!

OUTFIT DU JOUR - All Dressed Up and Nowhere to Go

It's already Day 3 of New York Fashion Week and I have nothing remotely related on my agenda (no shows, no after parties, no showroom appointments...sorry guys!).  But if I would have been invited, this is probably what I would wear.

Vogue Australia might be the only magazine feature a new swimwear season in October (it's spring/summer for them) but I'm glad to see some inspiration for our upcoming vacation!

Yup, some friends of ours invited us to stay with them at a beach front vacation home in Bali they rented for the October holiday (Chinese national holiday) and we're going sans-Ayden!  Can't wait to explore the local market, spa treatments on the beach and sunbathing by the pool.
