SPRING TREND - Tied around the Waist
It's like my junior high years again! The "tie-your-shirt-around-your-waist" trend has started casually last year but in full bloom this spring. I must admit, it's probably one of the most easy to wear and accessible trend (everyone has a shirt around and all you have to do is just tie a knot around your waist...nothing fancy). And if Taylor Tomasi Hill is rocking it then it's good to go in my books.
So go ahead, try it out!

the Regimen
After my oxygen facial, I was introduced the Luzern Laboratories, a Swiss pharmaceutical grade line of skincare that is free of toxins and uses certified organic extracts.
I was prescribed to use the following regimen to complement my current La Roche Posay Active C lotion, eye cream and Anthelios facial sunscreen:
- Micro-Exfoliant Deep Hydrating Scrub - a moisturizing and ultra gentle scrub to erase dead skin to prep my face for the mask and serum.
- Pure Oxugen Radiance Mask - this mask is inspired by the Oxygen Facial itself! It comes with a small bottle of the Serum Absolut V12, which allows customizable mask by adding a few drops of the serum into the mask before applying (apparently that's what estheticians do at professional spas already). It left my skin smooth and bright!
- Serum Absolut V12 - a 15% pure vitamin C and antioxidant serum to brighten up my complexion, stimulates collagen/elasticity and serve as preventative measures for future signs of aging. I've used it for three days now and it's not at all aggressive nor irritating given the 15 % L-Ascorbic acid.
Yup, after two kids and being in my early 30s, I think it's about time to give my skin all the help it can get and have a proper regimen.

OUTFIT DU JOUR - Oxygenated
Finally got around to my facial (which was re-scheduled twice thanks to my adorable son who is sick and needed a visit to the emergency, then later to the clinic) at Spa St James. I originally wanted a microdermabrasion, but was recommended to try their oxygen facial.
"Oxygen facial??? What's that?", I asked my esthetician.
"We will do a classic facial followed by infusing pure oxygen into the cells of the epidermis. It will leave your skin fresh, plumped and radiant".
The pure oxygen "sprayed" onto my skin felt amazing! Like a baby's butt (and I have a newborn at home so I know what I'm talking about). If you have sensitive skin like me and cannot tolerate harsh chemical peels, I would highly recommend the oxygen facial!
ps. I'm not wearing makeup, just "oxygen" and my lip balm!

Lady Danger
Guess what I got today??? Yup, I got a new lipstick! And it's in the most perfect shade of bright orange-red from MAC called Lady Danger.
I haven't bought a lipstick...well, since I got married almost 6 yrs ago! And it was a more intense bluish-red to match my chinese qibao for the wedding.
First one I tried and didn't even bother trying others shades or brands. I don't think I've ever fell in love at first sight (or application), but this is perfect!

p.s. Colour in daylight without primer/lip balm/liner/anything. Notice how white it makes my teeth look?!?

CAN'T KEEP MY EYES OFF...

Cara Delevingne in this beautiful black lace Burberry gown at the opening of the Cannes Film Festival 2013.
Tousled
It's finally here...I've started to shed again! You may recall in my post "loosing my sanity"that about 4 months after I had Ayden, as my hormones started to balance, I was loosing chunks and chunks of hair (which seriously freaked me out!). Well, it's back to haunt me!!!
As I have been mentally preparing for this moment, I'm torn between the idea of going for a cut...a bob cut! Torn because a bob is high maintenance (I had a bob for 4 yrs during my late teens) but will prevent some shedding and makes my hair look fuller. But mostly torn because if I want to grow it out...the in-between stage is just cruel!
