I have a hot date tonight with my man...ok, so it's actually a playdate...for my little man...at my friend's place with 3 other toddlers!  Still, I decided to put on something red to be in the mood on this day of LOVE. And the only thing I was able to find that still fits is my old trusted red nail polish.  Good enough!

I've been looking at getting a new pair of sunnies for spring (just like every fall, I long for new boots), and have been fixated on a pair of oversized black frame cat eyes...like the Wayfarer from the Row (as seen on Mary-Kate and many others).  

Unable to justify spending spending $500 a pop for the Row, especially with a newborn on the way, I decided to do the next best thing - get the Olsen twins' junior line, Elizabeth & James Hudson sunnies in black.  Since they were on Hautelook at 60% off a few days ago (gotta love those online outlet sites!), I almost felt like I was saving money for the household instead of spending.  

And while at it, I also grabbed the Elizabeth & James Hayes Aviators in antique silver.  Can't wait to receive them!!!

Last sunday was the launch of Target X Prabal Gurung, but unfortunately for me, Ayden decided that he wasn't gonna sleep all night...which means that all the pieces I wanted to order were sold out by the next morning!

Oh well, let's not mourn about it and just focus on what he put out in New York for his Fall 2013 collection.  Look at the military inspired jackets and pants with slash of skin!   Look at feminine peplum and off the shoulder details!  Look at the leather boots and harness belts!!!

OUTFIT DU JOUR - Give it a rest!

TGIF!  Not that it makes much of a difference to me since I'm already on my maternity leave and weekends are now just an extension of the week...with brunch available until 3pm!

Anyways, it's been snowing up a storm since this morning and I thought I should give my tired Uggs (yes, I do own a pair of those...) a rest and parade my new Zara studded moto boots.  Not nearly as warm but definitely bad-ass enough to hold up against the Canadian weather!

Are you superstitious?  If so, like many, you would be reading the zodiac horoscope for the upcoming year of the snake and all the feng shui around it!

Although to most, snakes are symbols of evil and viciousness, I prefer to think positive and embrace the little reptile (after all, my baby girl will be born a snake)!  So instead, I have been envisioning buttery soft textured python handbags....from shades of natural grey to blush to black!
