OUTFIT DU JOUR - Gossip Girl

Today was a good day: spent the morning lounging in the living room, reading the newest copy of Life & 
Style (it was time for me to keep up with Hollywood gossip), wearing samples of our label SKIIN after a big bacon and eggs with raisin toast breakfast.  


Oh yeah, did I mention that our own label will soon be out!?!  Although we are still awaiting for the final samples (yes, the first batch needed some adjustments to meet our standards), I'm sooooo excited about the whole collection!  Inspired by our lifestyle, we started with a capsule collection of a few very very comfortable and flattering basics to layer or wear on its own.  I'm wearing our Zoe long sleeve tee (and they're extra long sleeves) and our Brandon short shorts.

And I'm also sporting red lips.  I think I finally am getting comfortable with bright lips...after years of trying and testing.  Or maybe because I finally learnt how to apply lip colour!

Who said diamonds are a girl's best friend?  Well, I must add that an Hermes rose gold and diamond Kelly is a girl's best friend!

Meant to be worn as a bracelet or a minaudière.  This piece of jewel, part of Hermes' Haute Bijouterie collection, is made of solid rose gold and 1160 diamonds!!!

So, what's the damage?  Just over $2M...pocket change for your average Russian billionaire!  But with just 12 available, maybe the Russian billionaire will need to be on the waiting list.

This is my son, Ayden.  Needless to say, he's cute!  And funny (especially when he's pretending to talk on the phone)...and annoying (especially when he pulls on my hair)...and is the love of my life!

And this is his first time eating french fries at none other than Table No. 1 restaurant on South Bund, Shanghai.  Honestly, he's quite a picky eater.  But hey, who can resist fries?  

BEAUTY TREND - Hot Lips

With bright lips trend full on for spring, I decided that I will dedicate myself (and make a conscious effort) to wear more lip gloss/lipstick.  On a everyday basis, I'm more a lip balm kind-a-girl.  I guess I'm just too lazy to re-apply every 30mins.

But every time I see gorgeous bright lip hues at cosmetic counters, I can barely resist...and hence, end up with lots of unopened tubes of reds, fuchsias and corals.

Patricia Schmid's lips on Marie-Claire's beauty editorial are so perfectly intense and balanced with the rest of her makeup.  I'll take cue for dark lashes and bright lips!

How beautifully simple and perfect are these: Hermes yellow gold cuff with single crystal stud and the white gold cuff with single black crystal stud?!?  I can only dream of them dangling on my wrists...

OUTFIT DU JOUR - Bloom

As I said, with such a beautiful day, I had no choice but to dress the part.  In fact, I'm ready to vacuum seal all my winter coats and sweaters and store my Uggs away!

It's the last weekend for our friends visiting from Montreal before they head to HK.  Obviously, we went out for some yummy toro and cold sake at Sun with Aqua on the Bund.  It felt very fitting for me to wear my kimono jacket for a Japanese restaurant!

Off Runway

We all know that the best fashion shows are usually off runway, regardless if its off-duty models or the parade of editors and buyers getting to the shows.

In my humble opinion, Tommy is the best at capturing off runways fashion inspiration.  There were from the last Paris RTW fashion week.
