Never been the type to wear jumpsuits, let alone a leopard print jumpsuit.  But I find it less intimidating to wear such a bold print when paired with a neutral shade top over it.  The draping neckline and asymetrical hem of the black sweatshirt prevents the whole outfit to look like I just stepped out of the set of Austin Power - Goldmember.  Or maybe I still look circa 1972 if I had my afro wig (the one worn for last Halloween)?!?

Enjoy my last days of the view on the St-Laurent canal.  It was a bit windy, but not enough to stop me from wearing my favorite cutoffs!

This is the perfect all weather jacket with its oversized fold-over collar, knit insert sleeves and snug fit.  To toughen up the Darcy hobo bag by Alexander Wang, I decided to fold it in half and use it as a clutch.  And finishing off with a silk feminine blouse in peachy nude colour and my most flattering sandals...just to remind myself that I need to act with good manners!  Haha...who am I kidding?!?

OUTFIT DU JOUR - Peches & Cream

The day before Le Boudoir's event, I've been running around like a headless chicken since 8:30am.  More oufit shots, more tagging, more cleaning, more bags of inventory to pick up from my mom's.  To make things even more impressive, I even went to my office to call a few clients (although I'm still technically on mat leave)!

But for the next 30mins, let me enjoy my chocolate croissant and cup of latte!

It's almost swimsuit season again and I just started looking at the latest strapless styles on Net-a-Porte.com, one of my favorite online stores.  Yes, just like most of you, I will be buying yet another new suitsuit (or two) this summer even if I live in the North East non-beach front part of North America...

Although one-piece has gained its popularity in the recent years, I admit I'm still rather a bikini kind-a-girl.  After all, how else can I show off my belly ring?

After days of rain, its finally looking somewhat more promising this morning!  I just want to sit outside and sip on my ice latte...but most likely not this month with our upcoming Le Boudoir event to prepare and moving out by the end of the month! 

Just got back from Toronto and probably packed on a few pounds with all the meals and snacks we had  (my tummy is happy but me, not so much).  That's why I'm especially into flowy tops and beautiful prints to take the focus away from my not-so-flat stomach!  Paired with shades, in-season shoes and designer handbags, I can handle an extra poutine and nobody would noticed...or at least, so I hope. 

Sole Therapy

 

So I'm on my semi-annual "Eat & Shop" trip in Toronto.  Just got back from an afternoon on Bloor street and obviously visited the shoe department of Holt Renfrew.  And guess what?  Got myself 3 pairs of shoes because I simply couldn't decide which pair to buy.  The Alexander Wang Neomi Combat booties in grey lizzard, the Miu Miu Vernice nude pumps or the Camilla Skovgaard Saw Sole Wedge boots in taupe?  My usual solution is always all of the above, please!  Well, all I can say is that I'm now very shoe happy!

SHOPPING - La vie en Rose Gold

Here's my new little something something from friday morning's shopping: Alexander Wang Diego in Latte with Rose Gold hardware.  The warm taupe colour complements perfectly with the rose gold studs...what a perfect duo!  And the modern buchet shape is so easy to wear and versatile.

OUTFIT DU JOUR - Motel 88

My girlfriend Taylor got here 2 days ago and we have been working, eating and drinking non-stop!  My condo is a mess (driving me crazy) and I've been sleep deprived (making me cranky)...but the stress fuels me...somehow, we both work better with a tight deadline.

Got a mini-break this morning...excellent timing for me to head to Holt's to pick up a little something something!

a Lazy Girl's secret

The secret is out: I cheated!  While I was in Shanghai, I went for a treatment of Eurowave...well, almost a full treatment as it requires 10 sessions per targeted area and I had enough time to do 9 sessions...good enough!  Anyways, the main point is that my derriere is LIFTED!!!  without stepping a foot in the gym!!!

What I say:  After gaining 34 lbs and loosing it all post baby, I was left with a less than desirable derriere.  Actually, my butt/thigh area has always been my problem area where if I gain 5 lbs, 4 1/2 will go directly there.  However, pre-baby, I didn't mind so much because it was still round and perky (for an asian of course).  Post-baby is a whole different story...it was stretched and saggy...ugh!

My shopping and business partner in crime, Taylor, is probably by far the person most obsessed and knowledgable in all things vanity.  She loves Eurowave so much that she decided to invest and become a certified operator.  With her spa-grade machine set up in Shanghai, I volunteered myself for a treatment. 

The results were noticable after 4 sessions...and I was hooked!!!  Ok, it's a little painful as it works your muscles...but not nearly as painful as doind lunges!!!  Now, with my thighs slightly slimmer and my butt even more lifted, I can proudly wear short shorts this summer (have you noticed that I DIYed 2 pairs of cutoffs already?!?).
