Today seems like a marathon: along with millions other, I'm running around town like a headless chicken to complete my tax return by end of day!  And in between, I'm also dropping off/picking up my son, nursing my daughter every second hour, hitting the gym for an hour of treadmill/stairmaster and getting a haircut!

This editorial reminds me of the little Russian restaurant in Mtl that has been there for decades but always empty.  When I was working nearby as a student, we use to joke about it being a front for the Russian Mafia!  Cause there sure isn't any glamazon wearing the latest couture looks from my favourite fashion houses at my hubby's resto!!!

Peonies

One of my girlfriend is thinking of getting married this June (I know...sounds a bit of a rush but she has been engaged for over a year now) purely for the fact that peonies will be in season!  I must admit that I REALLY REALLY wanted peonies too but since I got married in september, I had to work with whatever little variety at that time of the year...which is basically nothing unless I had a harvest theme!!!

Now, if she is pulling everything together and hosting her wedding in june, I might just show up with my daughter in matching peony headpiece!

SHOPPING - Lululemon Cardio Kick

So you all know that I've been a little Lulu crazy lately...I can't really help it: they opened a brand new store right next to my gym!

Anyways, this morning, I decided to do quick peak and see if they received more colours in their Swiftly Tech LS (they are so comfy...my new favourite T now!), and came across these Cardio Kick tank on sale.  Now, I've seen them on their website and love the colour blocking but never bother to try them on.  At $39, I guess I don't mind spending an extra 10 mins!

Wow!  They fit like a glove!  I love the wide slightly padded straps to high impact sports (I've been doing mostly cardio to lose weight).  The mesh racer back is not only flattering but also keeps me cool (Being a heavy sweater so definitely can use the extra ventilation).  And although all the colours are cute, I went for these two colour combo because of the black side and back panels, which create a slimming effect...almost like "shading".  Yup, I can definitely don't mind some shading!

Super Girl!

Just wanted to share with you that my little Olivia turned 2 months old this week.  These are the most precious moments and I want to capture everything!  Everything in a Hermes while she still small enough!

And for the record, she's far more brave than her older brother...barely cried for her vaccination and didn't fuss at all at night (whereas Ayden cried hysterically like a girl!!!).  Super Girl Olivia!

Hermes Carré Couture

To me, Hermes is best known for three things: impeccable craftsmanship (being one of the only luxury brands that still hand-stich their leather handbags by trained artisans), leather goods and silk scarves.  My first Hermes was actually a 90cm silk carré.  I still remember spending what seemed infinite amount of time deciding which print and colouray...and I'm usually a decisive shopper!

Recently, the French House re-launched my all time favourite print "Tigre Royal" as part of their new Carré Couture collection to be featured at their New York flagship store exhibition.  Each valued at $25,000-70,000, this particular print has almost 5000 sapphires hand-embroided and took 7 months in the making!  Sure worth-while visiting if you live in the Big Apple (and take the opportunity to check out the new spring collection!).

L’Été Papillon - Chanel Summer 2013

I'm a huge sucker for shades of turquoise and azul...they just remind me of vacation!  So naturally, I'm drawn to the new Chanel limited edition Stylo Eyeshadow in Jade Shore and Blue Bay.  Shadow sticks are perfect for summer (or lazy people like myself...) because they require minimal effort/time (and minimal makeup artist skills) and deliver intensely pigmented application.  And if it's not perfect the first time around, just blend with your fingers!  Bonus: it also travels well in your purse for quick touch-ups.

I'm also really liking Le Verni in Azure but have been noticing that I don't use my nail polish since I get my mani/pedi done at salons...but the colour is just gorgeous!

Lululoca

Recently, in my unglamorous life of being on maternity leave and trying to shed the last 5kg, I've gravitated towards Lululemon instead of Louboutin.  Sure, on the odd occasion I have to go out sans kids, I'll pull out my heels...but in the past two months, that only happened once!

My legitimate reason to buy new athletic gear is simply because none of my old gym clothes fit me (either unflattering or plain cannot fit into).  Plus, it's always more motivating to hit the stairmaster when sporting a cute outfit!

The Lulu fever is nothing new to me...I was first addicted when I started Bikram yoga in 2006 and lasted for about two years, just before being pregnant with Ayden.  And this winter, I caught the virus again!  In fact, my mom has been making fun because I have now enough new gym outfits to go everyday of the week without repeating but have only been going 2-3 times/week...hehe...what can I say?!?

GIRL CRUSH - Cara Delevingne

Cara Delevingne, you might also know her as the "Bruberry Girl", is probably one of the hottest model  these days.  She walked Burberry Prorsum, Dolce & Gabbana, Chanel, Fendi, Stella McCartney and Victoria Secret just to name a few.  But what attracts me most about this English Rose is her fun and quirky personality! You'll see more pictures of her making a monkey face than otherwise...but at a tender age of 20, why take life so seriously?!?

SHOPPING - BCBG Jewelry Haul

This weekend is the BCBG warehouse sale, so naturally, I was there as soon as I was able to spare from my mommy duties! By the time I got there, the crowd was already considerable and lineups grew very quickly.  In fact, I had to wait over 30 mins just to access the accessory section (yes, there were lineups per departments once inside!).  I quickly scan through and picked up a few goodies for my self and my own mommy.  As for clothing and shoes, I just didn't have the time nor the energy to try on anything.

It was only once home I really had a chance to try on my bubbles: one multi-row beaded necklace w/ gold studded clasp, one multi-row faux pearl and crystal necklace, a pair of bigger-than-life chandelier earrings and a studded handcuff bracelet.

Everything was from $5-50 (my jewelry were only $10/each!!!), so if you live in Montreal, go for a quick look.
