I got this YSL Top Secrets Beauty Sleep concentrate at the on-flight duty free (mostly because I was bored and it looks interesting). And WOW!!! The secret needs to be shared!
It's in fact the latest addition to YSL's Top Secrets collection. Yves Saint Laurent claims "the 1st beauty “antidote” to short nights, a new product inspired by the beauty secrets of professionals." Yes, I do need any help I can get for the lack of a proper beauty sleep (pretty since I had Ayden)!
I'm still not quite sure if it's a base or an serum, since it can be used night and day, but it makes my skin smoother and more radiant. And by the end of a day, my make-up is still fresh and flawless (pretty good considering I'm now in Asia).
Well, all I can say is if you have a chance, you should definitely swing by YSL's counter to get a tube!

I was invited to guest host on my friend Lisa's Luxury Living show today and it was so much fun! The topic was Collecting Hermes, more specifically Birkins and Kellys!!! We started off with hair and makeup (can you tell that I didn't do my own makeup??) and spent the rest of the day at two of her friends' walk-in closets playing with their Hermes collection...we were literally like kids in a candy store!
I must say that at the end of the day, my favourite pieces are those two Hermes airplanes, one in red calf leather and the second in brown croco!!! They would be so cute in Ayden's room, I thought to myself...one day...one day mommy will buy you that...

It's my girl Taylor's birthday and we're going out to celebrate (of course)!! Heading to Helen Lee's show, then dinner at Apocalyps and some good old dancing (to burn out some calories) at Richee's!
As for the birthday girl, I really ran out of ideas of what to get her...so I made her a the same dress as I'm wearing in black long sleeve...turned out better than I thought! And she loved it!!! In fact, she wore it today (since she was still struggling to find an birthday outfit).
For some reason, many think Taylor and I look like sisters...and we just play along, not confirming or denying. Having the both of us dressed almost the same, it just became even more confusing to others!!
Happy Birthday Sis!!!
Dress - DIY; Tailcoat jacket - Zara; Booties - Mogil; Clutch - BCBG
ps. sorry for the blurry pictures, it was actually really late and I hate using flash!

(Gudrun Sjoden Spring 2012)
I attended the Gudrun Sjoden's show last night, a Scandanavian designer who's spring collection has been inspired by Shanghai. I love her use of natural material for everything from the clothing itself to accessories and headpieces used for the show. In fact, I'm really loving the oversized beaded necklace seen on all models. However, the footwear was very disappointing. All the models were wearing what looks like Toms canvas flats (sorry but not my thing)...
Well, otherwise, I was just really excited to be on front row!!! Humm...maybe I shouldn't have spent the entire show taking pictures...maybe I should have worked up some celebrity attitude and let others take pictures of me...haha...I'll keep that in mind for tonight's show.

Last evening, I was with my girlfriend at Fuxing park for the show of Shanghai Fashion Week! And I saw this little girl, which might have been the cutest and most fashionable one of the night!!! Just look at her hat, her boots...and her nonchalant attitude! Too cute!
More pictures to come...

The latest H&M collaboration is with the House of Versace, due to be released at selected stores worldwide on November 17th. I must admit that I've never been much of a Versace girl and really wasn't sure what to expect from this collection, but turns out it's not as bad as I thought!
In fact, my favourite ensemble is the black floral bustier and fuchsia floral cigarette pants! And the lace-up ankle boots are just a given. And you? How do you feel about this collaboration?

(Vogue China November 2011)
Fei Fei Sun for Vogue China Nov 2011 editorial. I love to wear black & white. Although we are seeing a sea of brights and prints, there's really nothing as eye-catching than black & white. It's crisp, it's sharp, it's timeless, it's urban, it's edgy!
Every piece in this editorial is AMAZING...and Fei Fei represents a new generation of modern Chinese woman. I love her strong brows and single lid eye...such a natural beauty!

I was tired of cleaning our studio and decided to take a coffee (latte actually) break. Our place is small and lacking space for all my shoes, so it seems like it's a never-ending battle to try to put everything neatly away...oh well, enough complaining for now, let me enjoy some down time.
Went out later the day to join my friend at Xintiandi Style. It's always nice to enjoy some down time with a girlfriend...and a good burger!

- Arabian Nights trio eyeshadow - Black with red pearls / Black with purple pearls / Black with gunmetal shimmer
- Mandchourie duo eyeshadow - Golden-infused denim / Rich navy
- Ponderosa single eyeshadow - Mink
- Campo De'Fiori eyeliner - Antique Brass
- St. Marks Place eyeliner - Bright Violet
- Miss Liberty blush - Soft, shimmering peach
- G-Spot multiple - Rich gold-infused rose
- Albatross lipgloss - Luminous gloss
- Joyous Red lipstick - Amber red
- Endless Night nail polish - Black grape
- Space Odyssey nail polish - Aluminum
Nars is one of my favourite cosmetic brand. This holidays collection's collection has the shimmer that I'm looking for to brighten my face. I'm captivated by Arabian Nights trio eyeshadow...just look at the shades...I just love their Night shadows!
And of course, I want the G-Spot multiple! The multiples are a multi-use product that can be used as highlighter for eyes, lips and cheeks. Best of all, it's easy to use and fool-proof. But with a quirky name like G-Spot, it's all it need to get my attention!
